What can we expect from the future? It’s hard to tell, but Asus will probably continue their active push into the Indian market more and more strongly until they get the market share that they were originally aiming for. After that, it wouldn’t be surprising if we saw other companies following their lead and trying to get some extra presence in this area as well, although it will probably be more difficult than it was for Asus now.
We will find out in a few months, but until then we have every reason to expect that the ZenFone 2 Laser will continue to reap good results for the company in this area.
There have even been rumors that Asus are planning Indian-specific releases in the next few months, but those rumors are relatively minor and not that prominent in the Internet space, and they’re essentially limited to a few communities.
But Android fans love to talk and speculate about their favorite devices and this should come as no surprise to anyone, especially people who have been following the market as closely as possible. And it’s not like Asus aren’t giving their fans plenty of reasons to speculate either, as the company has been somewhat mysterious in their plans and the way they’ve been approaching the market as a whole.
