Assassin’s Creed is becoming one of the most popular video games over the last few years. The odds are pretty good that you have seen the television commercials for the game and there is a reason for that. The major following of the video game series is waiting for any information the can get on the next game. According to one online source, the new version of the game will be set in London. Just like a few of the games before it, the location has been revealed for Assassin’s Creed: Victory.
One source claims that this is going to be an annual tradition to let the fans know what might be in store, without giving away too much of the game to them. Other things that have been leaked include actual screenshots and other mission descriptors. The game is reportedly going to be called, Assassin’s Creed: Victory and it will be taking place in Victorian London. This will be the first game of the popular series that is put together by Ubisoft Quebec.
If you want to believe leaked information, then you are going to be excited about what the game has in store for you. One online source claims that the game will feature grappling hooks for travel and fight scenes that take place on top of trains and other moving objects. There is a good chance that Jack the Ripper will be making an appearance as a Templar Agent, or some other role within the London game setting.
Of the sources that were leaked the information to, most of them are not very excited about the new game and there are reasons to make the case. Assassin’s Creed: Unity was a dud of a game and because of that, many wonder why Ubisoft would go all in and make the Assassin’s Creed video game an annual video game release. Others think that Ubisoft is just going to replay history and this game is going to fall into the same problems that Assassin’s Creed: Unity did. Gamers took to the net to voice their displeasure with the fact that London was not a surprise for this game.
Moving around Europe was expected and of course there are differences between Revolutionary France and Victorian London, but that is not the main thing. The white, hooded character is still our lead in the movie. The new setting might be visually stunning, but the crowded streets and huge cities to get lost in are just not as exciting as they were when the game first showed up in stores.
