We’re curious to see if this release will affect the next installment in the games series, as it looks like it managed to shake up the trust that some fans had in the franchise.
“Assassin’s Creed” was already on shaky ground for its last few releases, so Ubisoft will need to be extremely careful in their approach in the future, and ensure that they listen to fan feedback carefully. They still have a chance to do something great with the games, but they will have to distance themselves from the flopped film release first.
Let’s see what 2017 has in store – perhaps we’re about to see a revival of the “Assassin’s Creed” franchise and a new game will shoot it back up to the top of the charts.
That would definitely not be a bad thing to see, as there is still a lot of potential in “Assassin’s Creed”, and many gamers would enjoy seeing another game reviving their hope in the series. Ubisoft certainly have all the resources at their disposal that they may need to accomplish that, so all the studio really has to do right now is put those resources to good use. We’re going to find out what they’re planning to do in a few months in any case, as it won’t take long for news of a new “Assassin’s Creed” game to come out.
