Ashley Graham, the American plus-size model, took part during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner with US President Barack Obama on April 30 and she looked stunning as usual.
She wore a figure-hugging low-cut dress and accessorized with David Yuman jewelry. Observers were one in saying that she looks like a total knockout more than a nerd.
The 28-year-old model also posted part of her preparations for the event on her Snapchat which her makeup artist Vincent Oquendo later shared on his Instagram page, notes People.
In addition to Ashley Graham, the event also drew the attendance of the cast of the American political drama TV series “Scandal” on ABC, actor Will Smith, and supermodel Kendall Jenner who was wearing a TKTK.
Among the A-lister celebrities that evening, it was actress Kerry Washington who was very excited about seeing in person President Obama.
She said in an interview prior to the event that she is excited to see President Obama and she thinks the meeting will be bittersweet. Washington said that Obama is a brilliant and hilarious man. People like to always see him brilliant but not too many people get to see him as a funny person.

Ashley also advises ladies to be fearless with fashion but they should splurge on investment pieces rather than on trends.
She adds that they should not be concerned about the size limit on the trends they want to try. She encourages them to be bold by trying on sizes that they never imagined they could wear. Graham said that her closet has everything from 8 inches to 18 inches.
She also stated that in spending big money on clothes, ladies should go for classic and timeless shapes and colors. It’s not worth spending money on an expensive item that shall already be out next season.
