Critics believe that Calvert will bring his own edge to the Anarky character in the TV series and make “Arrow” Season 4 more exciting. His character’s name is perfect for creating chaos and anarchy and that is likely what he and the big bad Darhk are going to give Team Arrow.
While The Flash and The Atom already have their respective spinoff TV series, it is likely that they will still come out with cameo appearances in “Arrow” Season 4 when it debuts on The CW on October 7. Consistent with its past three seasons, Season 4 of “Arrow” will have 23 episodes.
“Arrow” follows the adventures of Oliver Queen, played by Stephen Amell, a billionaire playboy of Starling City, who spends five years being shipwrecked on a mysterious island. Upon his return to Starling City, he is reunited with mother Moira Queen, his sister Thea Queen, and his friend Tommy Merlyn.
Season 1 focused on Oliver rekindling his relationships and spending his nights hunting down and sometimes killing wealthy criminals as a hooded vigilante.
He uncovers a conspiracy to destroy “The Glades,” a poorer section of the city that has become plagued with crime. John Diggle and Felicity Smoak assist Oliver in his crusade. The first season also features flashbacks to Oliver’s time on the island, and how it changed him which continue in subsequent seasons.
