It seems like Season 4 of the American superhero drama TV series “Arrow” is headed to an exciting wind up as the battle between Team Arrow and the forces of Damien Darhk heats up on course to a likely showdown towards the season finale.
The CW has released photos of the upcoming 15th episode of Season 4 of “Arrow” and it showed the first ever live-action appearance of heroine Vixen, to be played by Megalyn E.K., reports Comicbook.com
Apparently, Vixen will be joining Team Arrow in their fight against Damien Darhk as Oliver Queen seeks out an old friend in her.
Vixen uses magical ability to summon animal powers and with such gift, she will be able to lock on to the location of Damien Dahrk and the Team Arrow goes to war with Darhk and his ghosts.
The episode, titled “Taken,” will air on The CW on February 24 and it shall also feature Thea Queen, played by Willa Holland, having another heart-to-heart talk with her father Malcolm Murray, played by John Barrowman.
Demolition job continues
The 14th episode of “Arrow” which aired on February 17 showed Damien Darhk’s demolition team continuing their onslaught on the members of Team Arrow, and they are using building deconstruction to set the trap.
Police Captain Lance was the first to get a call and it was good that Laurel followed her father and was able to rescue him from the collapsing structure with only a minor head wound.
Damien Darhk’s new hired goons are not done yet with their demolition jobs. They lured the members of Team Arrow in a factory where they almost trapped them. But as they run out of the factory, Thea grabs a laptop containing blueprints and they all managed to escape through a window, details TV Line.
Oliver then asks Felicity to mine the laptop for the next target, which reminded Felicity of how they first met. Felicity then passes the task to Curtis who said that the next location would be the site of the mayoral debate.
Damien Darhk’s own wife is also running for Mayor of Star City against Oliver Queen so they wonder whether Darhk will also go the extra mile of killing his own wife. But Oliver said that Ruve will not be harmed and instead come out the sympathetic survivor of the demolition attack.
Team Arrow thwarts the demolition and Oliver Queen comes out the clear winner in the mayoral debate.
Then Darhk introduced his daughter to Oliver’s son William, who will be staying with them, which means that Darhk has kidnapped William.
Permission to lie
After she found out about William, Thea is supporting Oliver not to tell the truth about it to Felicity even as Oliver continues to express guilt over the matter. Thea believes that is one way of keeping a promise to the mother of his child while ensuring William’s safety.
Meanwhile, Lance decided to take some time off from his relationship with Donna to also protect her from the forces who are running after him. Eventually, Captain Lance admits to Donna that he was working with H.I.V.E. to protect Laurel and he and Donna kiss and make up.
Also during the episode, Curtis gives Felicity the best engagement gift ever which is an implantable bio-stimulant that shall one day help her walk down the aisle.
Two episodes back, “Arrow” featured a reunion episode for major characters in the show.
It was actually the episode where the Arsenal a.k.a. Roy Harper, played by Colton Haynes, made his return to “Arrow” though unwillingly it seems and eventually saw his reunion with Thea Queen, a.k.a. Speedy.
Apparently Roy Harper was being blackmailed by a hacktivist known as The Calculator, played by Tom Amandes.
Team Arrow actually caught him trying to steal stuff for The Calculator and the Green Arrow shoots him with an arrow to bring him down.
