And of course, let’s not forget the numerous supporting roles on the show, as there are many characters who the fans love to see from time to time. From regular appearances like Buster, to rare recurring roles like Gene Parmesan, the family’s private detective, there are many character that should be brought back to the screen at least once or twice for the new season.
We wouldn’t put it past the show’s producers to try introducing someone new as well, as it’s never too late for a new character when it comes to “Arrested Development”. There have even been rumors about that, but we have no details.
Plus, we haven’t heard anything from the show’s casting, and if they really were planning to introduce new characters, they should have stated searching for their actors at this point. Of course, it’s also possible that casting is underway but it’s just being kept a secret.
Whatever the show’s producers are thinking of doing right now though, we’re confident that the show can go on for at least one more season and remain successful. The way season 5 is received and the ratings afterwards are going to determine whether or not we’ll see a sixth season.
