We’re very interested to see what the new season is going to bring, and one of the things that have been the subject of the most speculation among fans is the possible return of various guest characters. The show is certainly rich on them and there are lots of different options for the producers, but we don’t know which of the characters they’re planning to bring back.
Fans have of course been discussing the possibilities a lot, and one of the most highly demanded returns seems to be that of Gene Parmesan, the family’s personal private detective.
We’re likely going to see most of the prominent guest characters at least once or twice in the new season, or at least referenced in some random instances, as the show’s producers are most definitely not going to miss out on the opportunity for some inside jokes. After all, that’s what most of the humor of the production is based on anyway, and the more old characters we see coming back, the funnier those episodes are going to be.
