When some people hear the name, Arnold Schwarzenegger, they think of a bodybuilder that went into politics and became the Governor of California. Others might take a minute and try to remember what movies he is in and which one is their favorite. Either way, most recently Arnold Schwarzenegger has was the Governor of a state and that is going to stand out like a sore thumb these days. Now that he is out of office, many expected that he might get back into movies, but for now, that is not the case.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has hit the campaign trail once again. This time, he is not trying to get into office, however he is trying to get another person elected. That person is John Kasich and he is trying to outrun Donald Trump and all of his supporters. For some reason, Kasich believes that bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger and television host Montel Williams on board will do the trick.
Kasich is the Governor of Ohio and has been running for the Republican side as he rises passed others in his bid to become President of the United States. With a very important vote coming up in New Hampshire, Kasich is hoping that by having Arnold Schwarzenegger and Montel on his side that he can sway some Trump supporters his way. That is not going to be an easy task, but both Schwarzenegger and Williams do have some political pull.
In order for Kasich to keep his campaign moving up, he will need to do well in New Hampshire. Kasich’s campaign has exhausted plenty of time, energy and cash and is hoping to get any boost that it takes to come out of the next election a winner. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kasich have known each other for years. Arnold Schwarzenegger goes to Ohio for his annual sports festival each year and is actually filming a movie in Columbus right now. Montel Williams is backing Kasich on the fact that he has the experience after being a congressman and Governor in Ohio.
What might seem a little strange to the public is that Arnold Schwarzenegger was just announced as the replacement for Trump on Celebrity Apprentice on NBC. That might seem like some foreshadowing to those that are keeping track, but it is more likely to be a coincidence as Donald Trump is clearly putting more time and energy into becoming the next president of the United States. Some might wonder why Kasich would need the help, but there is nothing wrong with trying to save what you are fighting for with a little help from a friend. Arnold Schwarzenegger has already donated the max amount to his campaign and joined him in a tele-town hall meeting Friday.
