They at present do not support Obelisks, caves, or the swamp biome. As one will find in the Procedurally Generated Map guide, there are still supply drops and animal spawns based on the biomes created. Currently absent biomes, like the swamp and the desert, plus other features, are going to be included as the developer keeps on iterating on the feature.
There is as of now no published timeline or roadmap on when Studio Wildcard thinks it will complete the PGMs.
Even though ARK: Survival Evolved is an official release on the PlayStation 4, it is still very much an Early Access title as we can see with today’s patch. Studio Wildcard is aiming all its energy so it can release it by spring 2017 on the PC and Xbox One, which basically means the same for Sony’s console.
It will be exciting to watch the development of the game over the next couple of months to see if the performance and crash problems can be fixed while including new features like the Tek Tier and a slew of new dinosaurs.
Ark: Survival Evolved is obtainable now on PC, Xbox One, PS4, OS X and Linux. Stay tuned to us for more news and updates.
