Ariana Grande will finally release another single from her upcoming album and fans are so excited to hear it.
The 22-year-old pop sensation announced that her next single entitled “Dangerous Woman” will come out on Friday, March 11.
Ari made the announcement exactly a week before the song’s debut. In addition, a sneak peek to the song will be heard on March 9 during CBS’ broadcast of the Victoria’s Secret Swim Special. It will definitely be a treat to all Arianators.
Victoria’s Secret announced that a preview of Grande’s latest single will be heard while supermodel Candice Swanepoel walks the runway during the Swim Special.
In the fashion brand’s Instagram page, a snippet of the song can be heard and it suggests that the song has some serious feminist kick just in time for women’s month.
“Dangerous Woman” is also the name of Ariana’s third studio album. It was initially announced as “Moonlight but the “Bang Bang” singer said that when she heard “Dangerous Woman,” she had to change the title of her album in honor of it.
Fans were shocked when the “Break Free” singer announced that she changed her album title. After all, her Snapchat username is Moonlightbae which means she was pretty much into the song already.
In a Q & A with her fans, she reveals that “Moonlight” is a lovely song with a great tune, but “Dangerous Woman” just stole her heart right away hence her decision to change her album title.
Ari also released a snippet of “Moonlight” wherein she can be heard belting to high notes of the song and speaking to some kid at the same time.
After the release of “Dangerous Woman,” the “Victorious” star will appear as both host and musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on March 12 where she is expected to debut another song from her upcoming album entitled “Be Alright.”
Reports say that following her SNL guesting stint, the music video for “Dangerous Woman” will come out.
Teen Vogue reports that Grande is all about feminism in her upcoming album. When she delivered the news that she renamed her album to “Dangerous Woman,” she did so wearing a T-shirt that has her album name printed on it.
On her website dangerouswoman.com, the tee is available in white and heather gray for $30, and a sweatshirt in white and light gray is also available for $60.
The song is the second single from her third album and is a follow up to “Focus” which was released last October. Unlike “Focus” which had about a month of teasers, Ari had minimal time to promote “Dangerous Woman.”
The first track of the upcoming album will be titled “Moonlight” which Ariana co-wrote with Victoria Monet.
Fans of the pop singer have been growing impatient since it has taken a while for her third album to be released.
The “One Last Time” hitmaker already said last year that her album is already in the final stages and that they are almost through with it, but up to this day, no word has been given when it will officially come out.
This was also probably because of her jam-packed schedule last year. By 2015, she embarked on her massive The Honeymoon Tour in which she roamed practically all over the world. The tour ended by the year’s last quarter.
She also guest-starred in Fox’s horror-comedy series “Scream Queens” as Chanel #2 and she also filmed for her cameo role in the upcoming film “Zoolander 2.”
Despite no new release from her upcoming album, she managed to collaborate with Italian singer Andrea Bocelli on the track “E Piu Ti Penso” from Bocelli’s album titled “Cinema.”
