Ariana Grande Teases Part of the Lyrics of Her New Song ‘Moonlight’ on Twitter, And More!

Music celebrities have found good use of social media to tease their fans of upcoming music. It seems like Ariana Grande has joined the bandwagon when she revealed part of the lyrics of her new music titled “Moonlight” on her Twitter account.

It took the “Love Me Harder” singer three tweets on mid-day of July 1 in a span of four minutes to tease her new music which seemed like a fill in the blank test for her fans and followers on Twitter, notes MTV.

To most of her fans however, they found the lyrics shared by Ariana Grande as too cuddly and sweet as it seems that love is not lost on the 22-year-old songstress despite breaking up recently with 27-year-old former rapper-boyfriend Big Sean.

In her tweet, she intentionally left blank the phrase ‘holding me tight’ as she only mentioned ‘he knows just what it does when he’s’ and followed it after the series of dots or ellipses with ‘and he calls me moonlight too.’

The song is officially titled as “Moonlight” and it is a single from Ariana Grande’s upcoming album which shall also have the same title.

Ari obviously wants to get her fans excited a bit with her reveal on Twitter. Realizing that her fans might play dirty ad-libs with her reveals, she joked and then went on to clarify by giving out even more lyrics along the way on her Twitter account.

The “Bang Bang” singer revealed that “Moonlight” is actually a song that she has worked on with Victoria Monet, who previously contributed to her previous “My Everything” album.

Ready to scream her heart out

In addition to her being active in the music scene, Ariana Grande is also busy with her acting career on television especially now that the horror-comedy TV series “Scream Queens” will begin airing on Fox on September 22.

Ariana will form part of the cast of the Ryan Murphy anthology series that also include Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourde, Abigail Breslin, Nick Jonas, Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuels, and Lea Michele.

The series also stars Nasim Pedrad, Glen Powell, Niecy Nash, Oliver Hudson, Diego Boneta, and Lucien Laviscount.

The series promises a perfect blend of cut-throat jokes and gory deaths where at least one character gets killed every episode, details Perezhilton.

While there have been reports that Diego Boneta is planning to court Ariana, it seems that the young singer is very focused with “Scream Queens” and her career. According to a source close to Ari, if she is going to hook up with someone soon, it would most likely be with a cast mate, which favors Diego Boneta’s personal plans.

Focusing on career instead

After the blowout breakup with Big Sean, there hasn’t been any word on Ariana Grande regarding her failed relationship or anything at all about her former boyfriend.

Instead of dwelling on the past, the “Love Me Harder” singer seems to have decided to focus instead on her booming music career as well as her hairstyles.

It may be a sign that she’s moving on from her split with former boyfriend Big Sean last month, but Ariana Grande is bringing back her old hairstyles of yesteryears.

In the first week of May, the songstress brought back her blonde ponytail hairstyle to sort of tell everyone that summer can already start and that she was feeling nostalgic about her past but very popular hairstyle.

But a recent photo or her also indicates that it is not just the blonde ponytail hairstyle that she is bringing back but also her use of a bow on her hair.

She posted an off-angle image of her along with some friends on her Instagram account on May 8 showing her hairdo with a bow on it. She captioned the post with “threw it back with that ribbon,” but that was in no way meant to tell her fans that ribbons are back in circulation.

  1. Wow, can’t wait for her new album Moonlight. This is really awesome. Happy Independence day Ariana Grande!

  2. Super exited for Ariana’s new music! I’m so exited for this new era to come. I have a feeling she’s going to go somewhat back to her old R&B roots, similar to Yours Truly. Don’t get me wrong My Everything was fantastic, but I much prefer her older style of music.

  3. I am so exited i want to hear the music so bad. I know ariana will blow us away with astonishing music. B.T.W. love the litle Moonlight
