Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Halsey, and Big Name Celebrities Express Support for Kesha Rose!

Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Halsey, Lorde, and many other celebrities are openly expressing their support to 28-year-old Kesha Rose Sebert when a Manhattan Supreme Court judge refused to let her walk away on February 19 from a six-album deal she signed with Sony Music Entertainment and the man she claims raped her.

“Tik Tok” star Kesha broke into tears as a result of the decision by the judge, which was widely met with criticisms from a number of celebrities, who have all taken to social media to rally behind Kesha Rose, reports MTV.com.

The New York Supreme Court denied an injunction that would prevent Dr. Luke, whom Kesha claims drugged, raped, and emotionally abused her, from interfering should she sign with another label.

The court decision effectively keeps the 28-year-old singer contractually obligated to Sony and to Dr. Luke.

Dedicating it to Kesha Rose

During Halsey’s sold-out concert in Glasgow, Scotland on February 19, the singer dedicated her empowering “Badlands” anthem “Hold Me Down” to Kesha by saying that the song is for Kesha Rose.

“Hold Me Down” is actually a reminder that no matter how small one is or how small people may make a person seem small, he or she should never let anything hold him or her down.

Halsey was also very vocal about her support to Kesha Rose in a series of tweets earlier that day. She first expressed her disgust by anyone in power positions abusing their authority. She added that her heart breaks for Kesha and all people affected by such toxicity.

The singer added later on that she does not even know what she would do if she were in Kesha Rose’s shoes. She hopes that Kesha finds peace and a way to continue to express herself without fear.

Halsey’s tweets were echoed by other musicians like Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Lorde, among other celebrities too.

Lady Gaga posted that there are people all over the world who loves Kesha Rose and she can truly say that she is in awe of her bravery.

For her part, Ariana Grande tweeted that her thoughts are with Kesha Rose, and she feels sorry that the singer had to endure such a terrible experience, notes Yahoo! Music.

Lorde also tweeted and said that she is standing with Kesha Rose through her traumatic, deeply unfair time and asks her followers to send good vibes to Kesha Rose’s way.

Changing her album’s title

Meanwhile, as early as late last year, reports already came out that the third studio album of Ariana Grande shall have an official title of “Moonlight,” which is to be one of the songs in the compilation.

However, when the 22-year-old “Focus” singer guested recently on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” she disclosed that there are now discussions going on in the recording company whether to stick with the title of “Moonlight” or change it to something different.

Ariana explained to Jimmy Kimmel that a really long time ago, she was already convinced that her third studio album is going to be called “Moonlight” because it is one of her favorite songs in the album.

But when they were about to wrap things up for the album, there came another song that has thrown her into a whirlwind and that she loved it so much that it changed everything.

It would be quite interesting if Ariana decides to change the title of her studio album considering that it has made the news already and that her fans are already anticipating it. Dropping a different-titled album may actually confuse some of her fans and may lead them to think that the “Moonlight” album was shelved in favor of a new one.

Ariana Grande also has a romantic new duet with former flame Nathan Sykes for the latter’s hit single “Over and Over Again.”

The pair briefly dated back in 2013 so when reports came out that they are doing a romantic duet, fans of ‘Nariana’ started rejoicing, obviously wishing that Ariana and Nathan get back together again.
