The year 2016 has been good to Grande, with the release of her third album “Dangerous Woman,” her hot song with Nicki Minaj “Side to Side” reaching the top of the Billboard charts, numerous nominations, and her stint as Penny Pingleton in “Hairspray Live.”
She bagged the American Music Awards’ Artist of the Year Award and was declared as one the best guest hosts of the long-time running show “Saturday Night Live.”
This year, the “Into You” singer is set to do her Dangerous Woman world tour as a follow-up to her third studio album.
The singer teased fans last May that she will be going on tour late 2016 or early 2017, before releasing her studio album.
The tour will kick off on February 2 in Pheonix, Arizona and is scheduled to end on June 17 in Turin, Italy. The pop star has her North American and Europe fans happy, but her Asian fans are also clamoring for her so it’s possible that her tour dates may extend.
Grande confirmed last September through Twitter that Victoria Monet and Little Mix will be joining the tour as opening acts throughout the North American leg.
She’s also nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards. Her song “Dangerous Woman” and her album of the same title has both been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Solo Performance, respectively.
