Now, that she’s 23 years old, there have been reports that pop star Ariana Grande would gradually change her looks to fit her age.
After all, she is bound to outgrow her signature high ponytail, winged eyeliner, and mini-dresses and dress the part of a mature woman.
It was actually her stylist Timothy Chernyaev, who have been gradually modifying the look of the “Dangerous Woman” songstress.
In fact, they have already done away with the froufrou remnants of her Nickelodeon days and she changed it with signature pieces from popular designers.
As a result, Grande has evolved into a style diva of sort as well. In fact, in her recent public appearance, she was spotted wearing silver thigh-high Balenciaga boots by Demma Gvasalia, stylized eyewear from Gentle Monster, printed Stella McCartney bomber jackets, and an array of on-trend oversize sweatshirts.
Not going anywhere
However, it seems that her famous high and tight ponytail would not be going away anytime soon as Ariana Grande recently said that she still likes it a lot.
Her ponytail is as famous as she is and it has been her trademark look for years. In fact, some critics would love nothing to see the “Focus” singer letting her hair down and try literally any other hair style, reports Marie Claire.
In a recent interview, Ariana Grande said that she feels that there are a million different ways to do a ponytail, adding that it brings so much joy to her too.
She explained that every time she puts her hair up, it is like a surprise. She often forgets how much she loves it and then she ties it back and she would say to herself that she loves the look.
She also does not care if other people does not like her ponytail and she would even have it two times bigger tomorrow, and even higher and tighter in the next few days. She said that she would crimp it for those who do not like her ponytail, adding that it would be a crimp that nobody has ever seen in 20 years.
New collaboration
Incidentally, Ariana Grande recently shared on Snapchat a preview of her upcoming new collaboration with boyfriend Mac Miller called “My Favorite Part.”
The song will be included on the rapper’s fourth studio album entitled “The Divine Feminine,” which would be released on September 16 by Warner Music, reports Direct Lyrics.
The preview showed Ariana in a car jamming to a few seconds of “My Favorite Part” and “Dang!,” another cut from Mac Miller’s upcoming album.
Meanwhile, despite her style-shift towards trendier labels, Grande still keeps her personal favorites in her new look.
She still loves pastels, chokers, and sky-high heels although it is obvious that her selection has become increasingly fashion-forward.
Ariana Grande recently took part in a MAC Cosmetics event wearing mohair Alexander Wang tank top, hoop earrings, and patch-covered denim. She actually looked like the “Dangerous Woman” she is describing in her own song.
Still, the sleek ensemble maintained its sweetness that is so typical of Ariana, highlighted by the petal pink in her get-up that enabled her to project the new cool while continuing her next step in her style evolution.
Incidentally, Ariana Grande is one of the stars of the television musical “Hairspray Live!” to air on NBC and when the trailer of the show was released on August 19, fans were able to get a glimpse of how their characters would look like.
In addition to Grande, other stars of “Hairspray Live!” include Jennifer Hudson, Dove Cameron, Kristen Chenoweth, Sean Hayes, Andrea Martin, and newcomer Maddie Baillio as Tracy Turnblad.
Stage actor Harvey Fierstein, who wrote the teleplay, shall be portraying the larger-than-life Edna Turnblad.
Ariana Grande shall be taking both her acting and singing talents as a checkerboard chick in “Hairspray Live!”
After appearing in “Scream Queens” Season 1 last year, the Grammy-winning songstress has joined the cast of “Hairspray Live” where she will play the role of Penny Pingleton.

I bet she gives great head
