The so-called “Mini Mariah Carey” has a four-octave vocal range. She began her career as the leading cast of the Broadway musical “Cat Valentine.” She also appeared on multiple Nickelodeon series like “Victorious” in 2009” and “Sam and Cat” in 2014. Because of alleged payroll conflicts with co-star Jennette McCurdy, the show was eventually cancelled.
Grande started out her pop career when she sang the soundtrack for “Music for Victorious” in 2011. In 2013, she got a recording contract from Republic Records and she launched her debut studio album that year which was called “Yours Truly.”
The song immediately made it to the US Billboard 200. She released another single, “The Way,” which also became a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2014, her popularity increased after releasing hit chart-topping singles like “Problem,” “Break Free,” Bang Bang” and “Love Me Harder.”
