The “Where Are U Now” singer posted a photo of him and Grande together in the recording studio in what seemed to be a meeting about their upcoming duet.
Speaking to Associated Press, Ariana confessed that the duo was supposed to do a song together, but then they both got busy with their own albums and it sort of just didn’t push through.
Even though their potential collaboration didn’t happen, Ms. Grande still gave their fans hope that a duet between the two will still happen.
The “Love Me Harder” crooner said that both she and Justin feel like they owe their fans a collaborative work soon. She adds that one day, they will finish what they started and put it out for all their fans to hear. She reiterates that it just isn’t the right time.
With both singers being managed by Scooter Braun, Justin and Ari are known to support each other. In March, Bieber surprised fans as he made a special appearance in one of Grande’s Honeymoon Tour show in Miami where Ariana rapped Big Sean’s part on Justin’s “As Long As You Love Me.” The 21-year-old singer also tagged along Ari’s Los Angeles stop on her tour last April where he sang “Where Are U Now” on stage.
