Pop singer Ariana Grande is known for being a frequent user of Snapchat and what better way to debut her new hair color than through the fan-favorite app.
The “Dangerous Woman” singer posted a snap on June 6 telling fans that after feeling under the weather, she’s now feeling better and apparently blonder.
The 22-year-old singer still looking a little sick wearing a blue sweater and matched her selfie with the popular and her personal favorite dog filter on Snapchat.
If you happen to follow Ms. Grande on Snapchat, fans would know that she’s likely to update them through the app than on any other social media platform. She even used Snapchat to debut the title of her album.
Fans are always treated to multiple photos and videos of the pop star trying out all the Snapchat filters. She’s also fond of posting photos and videos of her dogs as well as snaps of her and her friend having fun.
Following her story, Grande displayed her new do while spending some quality time with her dogs outdoors and flipping her new locks while listening to Beyonce’s Lemonade inside her home before leaving for Paris.
The former Nickelodeon star showcased her new and lighter hair color just in time for the Paris leg of her Dangerous Woman tour.
By the time she’s at the airport, her snaps had her hair pulled back into her signature high ponytail style.
Style News reports, while this isn’t the first time the pop star has gone on the lighter side for her hair, it’s very rare to see her blonde hair in anything but a ponytail.
Ariana started out as a redhead during her Nickelodeon days playing Cat Valentine in shows “Victorious” and its spinoff “Sam and Cat.”
In November, Ari went for a dramatically different look, rocking a platinum blonde hair for her music video of “Focus” which is one of the singles from her latest album.
Speaking to ET Online, Ari explains that she wanted to do her hair in white for a long time. She adds that she was actually inspired by her grandmother, whom she calls Nonna, to rock a platinum blonde hair color.
The “Into You” songstress also showed off her new hair transformation on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Grande isn’t the only star to switch up her look recently. Actress Kristen Wiig also debuted a blonder shade of blonde on the red carpet while promoting her latest film, “Ghostbusters.”
“American Crime Story” star Sara Paulson also made a hair transformation over the week. The actress has been chopping her platinum blonde her for months now showcasing a shorter hairdo each time.
Currently, Grande is busy promoting her third studio album. The singer is currently in the French capital for some promotional shows
“Dangerous Woman” was released last month and is the follow up to “My Everything,” which was released in 2014 and 2013’s “Yours Truly.”
Her album was well received by music critics some saying that it’s definitely a big leap from Ariana’s brand of music from her previous two albums.
The album was originally titled “Moonlight” as Ariana had been teasing her fans for over a year about it. However, when the singer heard the song “Dangerous Woman” after recording the track, she decided that it was going to be the title of her album instead.
“Dangerous Woman” features vocals from Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Macy Gray, and Future. Ari described her latest album as primarily a pop and R&B album with influences of house and dance-pop.
Lyrically, Ariana says that the album was about love and destructive relationships and focuses on more mature content than her previous two albums.
