Ariana Grande just turned 22 on June 27 and her fans didn’t disappoint in making a great shout out of greetings to the star on social media. The “Problem” singer, in return, thanked her fans through Twitter and even shared videos on Instagram of how she celebrated her special day with some friends.
According to Daily Mail UK, the pop singer was also spotted up and about in New York City sporting a bizarre white mask on the night of June 28. But Ari wasn’t hiding from her Arianators though as the “Bang Bang” singer was celebrating with friends and family by watching the Macbeth-inspired play “Sleep No More.” Surprisingly, the invitation for the play required guests to wear ghostly masks as the show was deemed interactive.
Apparently, not all greetings came with nice words for the birthday girl. Ariana joined other artists such as Lady Gaga and Joe Jonas in rejoicing the US Supreme Court’s decision to legalize same-sex marriage in the whole country.
The Inquisitr reported that some gay men find Ariana’s support for LBGT rights a bogus as she is allegedly using the community to sell records. Despite this allegation, Ariana still performed at Hudson River Park at the Big Apple for the annual Gay Pride Parade on June 28 with Caitlyn Jenner in attendance as well.
It’s been over two months since the “Victorious” star and rapper Big Sean ended their eight-month-long relationship, but the rumors just do not die down that easily for these two. Speculations are rife that One Direction’s Niall Horan was behind the pair’s break-up started rising when he and Grande were spotted partying in London during Grande’s world tour just a few days after the Ariana and Sean’s split. The dating rumors became persistent when Ariana was once again spotted attending Niall’s house party and when they were seen together again at a friend’s birthday in Barcelona, Spain.
The “Break Free” hitmaker was quick to dismiss dating rumors going on a rampage on her social media, posting an essay about woman empowerment. In an interview with The Sun, the 22-year-old performer details her public breakup with Big Sean and clarified the nature of her friendship with the One Direction member Niall Horan as well as the other men being linked to her. She quips that she could be friends with a guy and not jump into a relationship with him emphasizing that she’s not Big Sean’s ex nor Niall Horan’s new girl.
Ariana is currently busy working on her third album “Moonlight” rumored to be out later this year. Her fans are speculation that it will be the pop singer’s breakup album. The Gossip Table reports that the album will feature songs about her former flame, as Ariana once discussed the album was inspired by ‘this guy he was seeing’ and will include a collaboration with Justin Bieber.
She’s also busy getting her scream game on while filming Fox’s new series “Scream Queens” which premieres this September. The new horror-comedy offering from Fox, created by Ryan Murphy of “Glee,” revolves around a college beset by series of murders. Murphy confirms each episode will witness a character getting killed.
