Are Apple Stepping Up the Pace in the iPhone Line? 2 New Devices Rumored for 2015!

It’s been known for a while that Apple are particularly fond of their mobile devices, especially when it comes to the iPhone – but the company seems to have started to rely too much on their previous success with the last installment in the line, as many critics and fans felt rather underwhelmed by what the company was offering. And now, rumors indicate that Apple are not only trying to bring the iPhone back to its former glory, but they might also be looking to step up the pace in its development.

According to rumors, Apple already have two new devices in the line planned for 2015, which will be the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 7. If the rumors are true, the two releases won’t be made simultaneously, and the iPhone 6s will come out a bit earlier, with reports claiming that Apple are aiming for the first half of 2015 for that release. The iPhone 7 should come out around the end of the summer, and it should be revealed in September like the iPhone 6 was.

Of course, these are just rumors at this point, and Apple themselves have not confirmed nor denied anything – as can be expected from them. The company is notoriously secretive when it comes to their most recent devices, and it’ll probably be a while before they decide to reveal what’s going on with the iPhone 7.

However, the company should definitely focus on trying to make the new device truly innovative and original if they want people to actually show any true interest in it this time, as the attention towards the iPhone seems to have been dying down lately. This can mostly be attributed to the lack of serious innovation from the company, as even though the iPhone 6 tried to introduce some new original changes, it still wasn’t enough according to most.

Rumors also indicate that Apple are planning to focus more actively on their most recent devices, and will discontinue the iPhone 4s and iPhone 5c around the same time that they release the two new iPhones. This would also make sense, given the company’s previous trends, although it’s not known what it means for the future software support of these devices.

Apple iPhone 7

In a few months, buyers will see whether Apple have any intention on reviving the old days of the iPhone brand, or if they’re just planning to continue gliding along their success for as long as they manage to. Many fans have, understandably, been hopeful that the lack of innovation was just a temporary lull in the company’s progress, and that the release of the iPhone 7 will see them coming back in full force.
