Apple has always been able to sell just about anything, but many fans have found themselves upgrading more often because of what the company requires with new products. If you find yourself without the iPhone 5, then you are not going to be using the new Apple Watch, so that is an upgrade at an additional cost to you and more money for Apple.
That is only one reason why some consumers have vowed to stay away from Apple, especially since you are essentially paying for a product that is late to the game in most cases and costs $100 more than one that is sold by HTC, LG or Sony.
The smartwatch market really took off about two years ago when companies started offering a nice watch, with plenty of features and a lower price tag than the rumored Apple Watch. The Apple Watch is used to communicate directly with the iPhone, or iPad that you have in your pocket or bag. It alerts you of incoming messages, allows to take calls and can even tell you the time.
