Meanwhile, the device doesn’t get full 4G connectivity, and that would make the watch completely independent. For most of the features, pairing is still a necessity. The series 2 comes with 2GB of storage for wireless headphones and music; it makes more sense than keeping a large smartphone with you while having your morning jog.
The new watch might still be quite pricey, but overall, it’s useful. Chance Miller of 9to5 Mac said that he was never convinced of Apple Watch being a must-own product. However, the new version has managed to change his mind.
He added that the watch is not perfect but it is in progress. He was specifically impressed with two features, Apple Pay Web authentication, and Auto Unlock. With Auto Unlock, you no longer need a password to connect to his Mac computer, while wearing the watch. The computer will now unlock automatically.
Apple Watch 2 is now widely available with the Aluminium-face device starting at £369 and the steel one starting from £549. The ceramic version is available for a whopping £1,249. If you love running, the Apple Watch Nike Plus Edition will be particularly attractive to you and it’s priced at £369 as well.
