Apple Pay Will Expand To Canada by March 2015, Global Take-Off by the end of 2015!

Apple Pay is getting ready for a huge launch in 2015 and at the same time PayPal expands further into the traditional retail banking process. According to reports by Sterne Agee, this is a report in top payment predictions in the coming year. Thomas McCrohan and Leonard DeProspo, analysts from Sterne Agee report that the AAPL, +0.11% by Apple Inc.’s Apple Watch will be the final answer for avoiding a wallet that’s filled with plastic. It will turn out to be the big star on prime-time TV.

Presently, product placement is quite prevalent on the TV. They cited Shark Tank’s T-Mobile TMUS, +0.79% Devices promotion while American Idol judges sipped on Coke, KO, -1.10%. These are making dreams come true as two definite examples. Apple Pay will probably be featured in a major TV show in 2015. It will enjoy a big spike of consumers and merchants will eventually accept the usage of Apple Pay, as a result.

Apple Watch will launch in the same month the company wishes to introduce Apple Pay in the Canadian market.

However, it is unclear as to exactly when will Apple Pay launch in Canada since Apple Canadian website mentions, “Available in 2015” while the US website indicates a “Coming Early 2015.” After Canada, Europe will probably be the next stop for an expansion in Apple Pay. Since the Apple Watch supports this form of payment, it is quite natural that Apple will be trying to push forward with its international expansion with the former’s launch date looming.
