Apple MacBook Air Line Soon to End; Company to Focus on MacBook and MacBook Pro?

MacWorld states that the 2015 model of the MacBook and the MacBook Pro are still impressive when it comes to function. Plus, it has a Retina display, and a Force Touch trackpad so it will be very difficult for the 2016 model to up the ante.

It is expected that the 2016 MacBook model will also have the same features as its predecessor. Reports say that Apple is developing a Force Touch keyboard for the upcoming device to supplement the Force Touch trackpad feature.

Last autumn, it was reported that Apple has filed a patent that showed its design for a Force Touch capable keyboard.

The Force Touch trackpad gives electric pulses that feel like a click but is actually a glass plate that doesn’t move. Like on the iPhone 6S, users can press harder for a deeper click to access menus and options with certain apps.

The website notes that adding the USB Type-C port and a headphone jack is the new move to differentiate the upcoming MacBook models.

The USB Type-C port offers power, USB 3.1, Display Port 1.2, HDMI, and VGA capabilities in one single port. However, this also means that users will likely have to rely on adaptors if they want to use more than one function at once.
