Apple iPhone 8 Rumors Already All Over the Web, How Far Could the Company Go? Let’s See!

We’ve already seen that Apple are still willing to go against the grain and aren’t afraid of some criticism when they do what they feel is right. The removal of the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 is still being talked about, and it actually looks like the topic isn’t going to die down anytime soon.

And even though the iPhone 8 is still definitely a long, long time away, this hasn’t stopped some people from speculating about the device and discussing what Apple could do next. Many people are expecting the company to possibly do something even more drastic this time, but nobody seems quite sure what to expect in this regard.

Some of the rumors about the device talk about a bolder approach to its physical design, such as taking away the bezels as much as possible, perhaps even getting rid of the Home button. It would be strange to see an iPhone without the iconic round button under the screen, but on the other hand, it would also free up a lot of space that’s currently going unused.

The camera of the device could see a significant upgrade as well, with talks about an improved sensor but also better durability. There are not many complaints about the hardness of the iPhone 7’s camera glass at the moment, so we are not sure where these rumors are coming from, but regardless, they are out there.

Other than that, there are also some claims that Apple might be looking to make the next iPhone a particularly special device, as it’s arriving at a special time. 2017 would mark ten years since the iPhone arrived to the market, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Apple are preparing an event to celebrate that.

And what better way to remember the original iPhone than to launch a brand new one that reminds everyone why they joined the platform in the first place? If Apple were to design a new iPhone with a more classic approach to its design, keeping everything that made the device so iconic in the first place and throwing on a fresh coat of paint, we can definitely see it becoming a huge hit on the market.

As for the controversial headphone jack, we somehow don’t expect to see it coming back, at least not immediately. Apple might eventually decide to reverse their decision, but it would be too early if they did it straight away with their next device.

It would show indecisiveness, something which nobody wants to see from the company right now. Apple have traditionally been seen as an industry leader, helping push innovative trends forward, so if they give up on something so easily, that wouldn’t be in their style.

Then again, the company has obviously changed a lot over the years, and they are not exactly the same as they used to be. The changes in their leadership have definitely had an impact on the quality of the devices we’ve seen on the market, and some fans are claiming that the change hasn’t been for the better.

But on the other hand, despite the huge controversy around the iPhone 7, the device still managed to score some great reviews and positive responses across the board, so it’s clear that Apple still have plenty of supporters no matter what they choose to do. With that in mind, they should definitely go for some riskier decisions when designing the iPhone 8.
