Apple iPhone 7 with no Headphone Jack Would Be a Mistake, Steve Wozniak Predicts, Is Apple Facing a Shortage of Devices? Let’s See

Some reports indicate that Apple’s problems behind the scenes are related to their pricing approach, as the company has been unsatisfied with their profit margins on some components. Whether or not that’s true, it hopefully won’t affect the price of the new iPhone 7 in any negative way.

After all, the iPhone already has the reputation of the most expensive brand of handsets on the market – excluding things like Vertu, of course – so it wouldn’t make much sense for Apple to make the devices even more expensive. It’s hard to say how much they are profiting per unit right now, but we find it unbelievable that their margins would be too low compared to some of their competitors.

Still, it’s Apple, so anything can be expected from them with regards to pricing and marketing strategies. The company also enjoys its secrecy, so we wouldn’t expect them to open up about their current plans either.

All we can do right now is wait for the iPhone 7, and hope that the major negative predictions about the device don’t turn out to be true. In other words, if we get the phone with a 3.5mm jack, a good price and enough units for everybody who’s interested, it should be a good release with plenty of positive responses across the board. Of course, that also implies that the rest of the phone will match users’ expectations, for which we have no confirmation yet.
