Apple iPhone 7 to Feature 4 Speaker Grills and a Rear Camera that Protrude Outwards, Latest Leaked Images Indicate!

Several leaked images of the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 show that the latest smartphone offering from the American tech will have a major external design change.

Based on the photos, the iPhone 7 might actually feature four speaker grills, two on the bottom and two on top, as well as a bigger rear camera that protrudes outwards, reports the Indian Express.

However, since the supposed leaked images did not come from Apple but only from unofficial sources, these remain as speculations. If any, the latest leaked images only heightened the excitement of fans and users for the release of the iPhone 7 which is expected to be unveiled in September this year.

The latest supposed leaked images of the iPhone 7 also run contrary to the previously leaked photos of the smartphone where it showed having a design very close to the iPhone 6S with no major design change.

Some critics also think that the flash rearrangement in the iPhone in the latest leaked images is also very strange but it could be in line with other leaks which have suggested a bigger and larger camera hole.

Bigger with some dramatic changes

The next iteration of the iPhone shall reportedly come out as the biggest handset of the year with some dramatic changes from the current generation iPhone.

There have also been new pictures that surfaced online that show a version of the iPhone 7 with a completely blank front panel, which seems to suggest that Apple will drop its famous home key in favor of an on-screen button, notes the Mirror of UK.

The images also indicate that the headphone jack on the bottom of the iPhone has been done away with.

If this is true, this only means that the buyers of the iPhone 7 will have to shell out additional expense to be able to use a wireless headphone or buy an expensive converter to be able to enjoy music privately.

Bigger but thinner battery

The other rumors and leaks about the Apple iPhone 7 continue to spread on the internet and among the latest to have come out thus far is reportedly the thinner but slightly bigger battery.

After Samsung and HTC focused on improving the batteries of their flagship smartphones this year, with the HTC 10 reportedly lasting full two days of heavy usage, Apple needed to do something about it as well with its upcoming iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

However, it seems that the American tech giant could not go the proverbial whole nine yards with its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus because of battery size constraints.

Apparently, in order to accommodate the bigger battery on its iPhone 7, Apple needs to make it thinner to make it fit into its overall chassis, where the American tech giant appears to be having a great challenge.

Reports have it that the iPhone 7 shall have a 1,735 mAh battery, which is mere 20 mAh improvement over the iPhone 6S’ 1,715 mAh battery power.

The larger iPhone 7 Plus meanwhile, shall have a 2,810 mAh battery, which is a major improvement over the iPhone 6S Plus’ 2,750 mAh, accounting for a 310 mAh improvement in its power source.

Over the past couple of years, Apple has been making its updates through a predictable market cycle. The American tech giant usually ushers major design changes in even-numbered years and it is usually followed by under-the-hood improvements that keep the same physical chassis in odd-numbered S phone years.

However, if the rumors about the design of the upcoming iPhone 7 are true, then Apple may likely deviate from its development tradition and come up with a dramatic innovation when it releases its next iPhones this coming September.

The most important dynamic innovations expected on the iPhone 7 and its companion phone is the pressure-sensitive 3D touchscreen and the increasing always-on hands-free functionality of Siri.
