Consumers are wondering if Apple is going to release another version of the phone this year as the iPhone 6C, but there has not been a confirmation of that just yet. In 2013, Apple released a lower cost version of the Apple iPhone 5 called the iPhone 5C and it sold just as good as the other versions have over the years.
There is a chance that Apple skips the iPhone 6S, 6C and just goes right to the iPhone 7. The odds of that happening are very slim to none right now, but Apple does what they want and will let the consumers know when they are ready. It looks like a leaked document from an overseas mobile provider indicates that an iPhone will be released in September of this year, but does not detail which model it is.
Other sources online claim that they also do not know what model is going to be released, just that it is called “the new iPhone”, which is going to leave consumers and critics wondering for the next few months.
