Apple iPhone 7 New Concept Features a Bezel-Free OLED Display with Integrated Home Button!

There have been a lot of speculations on the internet regarding the possible features and specifications of the next iPhone from Apple immediately after the release of the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus in September last year.

Most of those concepts are actually based on fan imaginations or wishful thinking which is why most of their preferred features and specifications would unlikely to make it to the iPhone 7.

But there some iPhone 7 concept that seems legit, whose features might actually make it to the next flagship smartphone of the American tech giant, if not in the next.

One of those is the concept presented by iPhone-Tricks.com through a short video presented on its YouTube channel. It showed an iPhone 7 featuring a bezel-free OLED display with an integrated Home button. The next generation iPhone was also seen running on iOS 10 and comes with a Touch ID fingerprint recognition and support for additional gestures, details Yahoo! Tech.

Future specifications and features

Critics believe that it is possible that some of those key features will not make their way to the iPhone 7 particularly the Touch ID fingerprint scanner which according to latest reports will be done away with by Apple because of supply issues.

It is also likely that Apple would be starting to adopt OLED displays though some analysts think that it would not happen this year but sometime in 2018.

There are also reports saying that Apple is now studying the possibility of removing the physical Home button from the iPhone to create a device with a wrap-around display that would not feature any visible buttons.

As for the iOS 10, the software seems to closely resemble iOS 9, design-wise, which is most likely what will happen when it comes out.

It is also possible that Apple would also adopt a widget-like app icon behavior and it only goes to show that the 3D Touch UI could be improved in the future.

Although the concept featured a beautiful borderless OLED display, it does not mention however other key specifics including screen size or display resolution, notes Techno Buffalo.

The same video on the YouTube channel of iPhone-Tricks.com also discussed the possible operating system of the iPhone 7 featuring new customization options. It is possible to add more than four icons to the dock for easy access. Apps can also be turned into widgets. And just like Android smartphones, the iPhone 7 concept can be awakened or put to sleep using a mere tap.

Despite its futuristic hardware and clever software improvements, critics believe that Apple could only pull off the specifications and features of the new concept of iPhone 7 still a few years down the road and unlikely to make it when the real iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus comes out in September this year.

Ditching the headphone jack

Although the latest iPhones of the American tech giant – the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus – have just been released more than four months ago, rumors about its upcoming iPhone – the iPhone 7 – are already swirling wildly online.

With the impending release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 in a few weeks time, it was already expected that speculations about the upcoming iPhone 7 will also join the speculation bandwagon. After all, the one-upmanship between Apple and Samsung is the one constant thing in the business equation.

Rumored features and specifications of the Apple iPhone 7 have been making the rounds on the internet ever since the release of the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus but latest reports have it that the next iPhone from the American tech giant will completely do away with the device’s headphone jack.

The iPhone 7 will ditch the headphone jack in favor of the Lightning port or Bluetooth. In fact, a German website posted photos of a sleek-looking concept of the iPhone 7 showing how it has ditched the headphone jack.

The concept was designed by Eric Huisman and gives fans a glimpse of what the iPhone would look like when Apple finally decides to dump its traditional 3.5mm audio port for the purpose of making the device thinner than ever.
