When it comes to making a product that will sell like hot cakes, there is not a single person on the Earth that will argue that Apple does the best at it. The iPhone has been getting into every single corner of the globe since 2007 and with each year it has been making headlines with new features and sometimes even just the shape makes those headlines pop. Consumers are up to dealing with the seventh generation iPhone this time around and according to reports, things are changing.
According to what consumers are reading online this week, the Apple iPhone 7 is going to be coming with a little less body weight compared to the sixth generation. Forbes just posted an article about how the Apple iPhone 7 is going to be thinner when it arrives. How much thinner can the Apple iPhone 7 get, you ask? Well, according to at least one source, about six millimeters thin to be exact. Sources are posting a range between six and six and a half millimeters.
That would make the Apple iPhone 7 thinner than the iPad Air 2 and the iPod Touch 6. If you are holding the iPhone 6S, for example, you are holding a smartphone that has some serious power packed into a 7.1 millimeter thick body. The iPhone 6S Plus is a little larger at 7.3 millimeters, just to throw out a comparison for you. Other than the overall thickness of the device, other rumors are pointing to other features that fans can expect.
Those other features include 3D Touch, which consumers can see on the new Apple Watch and is something improved upon in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus models. With 3D Touch, the Apple device is able to decide how much pressure you are using when tapping on the screen and judging how much pressure is used, different options are available. A new gesture feature called “Peek and Pop” is activated by default and is one that will allow you to preview content without actually have to open it in any application. The pressure sensitive feature works with the email app and the phone app quite well and has been getting good reviews.
Even though the phone is not likely to be in stores until next year, it will be talked about almost every week until then. Features like the 12MP camera on the backside that can record in 4k video and the front facing 5MP camera will be involved in the newest models. According to another source that posts about Apple online, the technology company has already placed an order for A10 chips that are going to be used in the Apple iPhone 7. Those A10 chips are also expected to be used in new iPad models.
