When reading through some of the sources that are posting about the Apple iPhone 7, they refer to it as the iPhone 6S. That can be confusing, as normally those that have an iPhone already are looking forward to the next major update. In the past, Apple has used the iPhone “S” models to add a few changes to software and sometimes different hardward.
Most smartphone users will decide to bring home the Apple iPhone 7 rather than settle for the iPhone 6S when it arrives in the fall. One of the major benefits of waiting a few extra months is that you usually get a brand new iPhone with brand new iOS software and there is less chance of bugs slowing down performance.
Apple has seen a dip in its share price over the last few months and many experts are saying that the iPhone is going to be one product that can keep that share price bouncing back. Investors will have to wait and see which phone is released and how it reacts on the market.
