Just like with all of the other iPhone models before it, the wireless charging and the water resistance rumors are coming from a concept drawing that made its way onto the internet for fans to see. The concept also suggests that Apple could be using a “liquid” metal design for the body.
This would aide in the cooling of the smartphone and was actually reported by another online source last summer. The new metal that Apple is taking a look at would have naturally occurring waterproof properties, which is where the water resistance speculation comes from. Another thing that has Apple at the top of the food chain, has to do with the size of the phone.
