Then last month, a Chinese website suggested that the new iPhone 6C, which it called as the iPhone 6 mini could arrive in February 2016 just in time for Valentine’s Day.
According to the site, the iPhone 6C is on track to debut in February 2016 based on supply chain sources. But the same report also suggests that the phone may not arrive until the middle of 2016, which only means that Apple could launch it during the WWDC event in July.
Based on previous reports, the iPhone 6C would come out with a smaller screen and would also have a plastic shell, which would mean that it will be cheaper than the rest of Apple’s iPhone lines. This information is actually fuelling the hopes of some consumers that the letter ‘C’ on the iPhone 6C would mean cheap or affordable.
The reports also indicate that the iPhone 6C is also expected to look a lot like the iPhone 5C but with a slightly curved screen, similar to the iPhone 6.
With the iPhone 7 about to come out in September this year, the only way that Apple could launch an iPhone 6C would have to be before that month otherwise, it would put the American tech giant’s iPhone nomenclature in complete disarray.
