2017 should be a very interesting year for Apple’s fans if at least some of the current rumors turn out to be true. While we don’t know what exactly they are working on, it’s clear that there is a lot of activity behind Apple’s doors.
And as if to confirm that, the rumors about their work haven’t stopped. Of course, Apple are typically always surrounded by rumors from all sides, especially when they are coming up with a new device, so fans should have learned to take everything with a healthy dose of skepticism so far.
The one question that seems to trouble many of their fans right now is why they didn’t make the announcement of the iPad Pro 2 at their last event, where everyone expected to see the tablet.
It’s possible that they were indeed gearing up to reveal the device there, but hit an unexpected brick wall at some point during the final stages of its development. That could also add some validity to the rumors of a 2017 release, as it would give the company about enough time to fix any issues that they might have encountered on short notice.
It could also have something to do with marketing, as Apple may want to control the announcement of the device in order to benefit as much as possible from it. The company has been known to adapt their releases to some popular events, so it wouldn’t be hard to imagine.
