They have been making some questionable moves in the market, and some people claim that they’ve lost their way, especially after the release of the iPhone 7.
But Apple clearly still have a vision and are going to pursue it, and if they have the iPad Mini 5 in the works, we expect that it will be one of the most major releases of next year.
If the device fails to attract much attention though, we would definitely not be surprised to see the whole iPad Mini line killed off in favor of the iPad Pro. The latter has been enjoying a lot of attention on the market in general, so it wouldn’t really be a surprising development.
The two devices could also be combined in one interesting offer, according to some. But this is more of a major speculation right now and isn’t based on any real facts, so fans should probably not give this claim too much credibility at the moment – or at all.
It wouldn’t be the first strange rumor we’ve heard about Apple in the past, and considering that the company tends to be very quiet about those issues – to the point of refusing to comment on even some of the more outrageous rumors about them – we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true but they’re just keeping it a secret for as long as they can.
