Rumors then were also saying that the Apple iPad Air 3 would be a super-thin tablet but shall come with an expensive price tag, though it would not be as costly as the giant tablet, something which did not allow the iPad Pro to take off well in the market, in terms of sales.
There are also rumors citing that the iPad Air 3 would come out with a similar speaker set-up to the iPad Pro. It would mean four speakers surrounding the tablet to make for a better movie watching experience than the two speakers on the iPad Air 2.
While there were reports saying that the iPad Air 3 will launch in March this year, what came out is the Apple iPad Pro 9.7in, making everyone realized that the superb features and the capabilities that were previously mentioned in the reports and rumors were not of the iPad Air 3’s but the American tech giant’s latest tablet line.
The launch of the iPad Pro 9.7in was also the first time in six years that Apple unveiled a tablet in March because the company has been so used to launching the latest iteration of its tablet lines in October.
In 2015, the American tech giant also deviated from its usual tablet launching schedule when it unveiled the iPad Pro, along with the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus, the iPad mini 4, and the Apple TV in September.
