The newest flagship phone, the iPhone 7 is expected to be launched in September, when the company usually announces its new line of devices.
Just like the iPhone 5C, Apple creates the trend to offer mid-tier phones to their consumers. The mobile device is said to be packed with a speedy processor and Apple Pay compatibility.
The phone is reported to sport a form factor familiar to the iPhone 5S, but with higher spec hardware like a 12-megapixel camera and a slightly curved iPhone 6S-style cover glass.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kou said that he is expecting that the iPhone 5SE will be met with a tepid demand as consumers find shifting from bigger handsets such as the iPhone 6 to a 4-inch device as mostly iterative.
Kou says that since it’s a mid-range phone, Apple enthusiasts should not expect much from the device especially when it is expected to be cheaper than the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S.
The Apple Watch 2 is also something to look forward to in the March media event. The wearable device is said to be released in an array of color option for the bands, as well as a new line of bands composed of new materials.
