If the iPad Air 3 really is coming in March, then the official announcement for the device should be pretty soon, possibly even until the end of the next month. Of course, it’s worth remembering that these rumors aren’t very clear with regards to whether the device is actually going to be released in March, or if we’re just going to get the official revelation then.
The latter case also sounds possible, given the way Apple like to do things, and they might want to get their fans hyped up earlier this time, in preparation for releasing the device a few months later.
There is still a lot of potential in the iPad Air line, according to many experts, and Apple would be smart to keep paying attention to it, but they should also not lose track of what that line was supposed to achieve in the first place.
Hopefully, the iPad Air 3 is going to arrive with even more improvements in the size and weight department, as this is what the device would really need to make a solid impression on potential buyers right now. People who are interested in heavy performance don’t really look in the direction of that line in the first place anyway, so it may not make much sense to focus on performance right now.
