Apple has closed the download window for that have have software older than version 9.1 and that is the reason it was recommended to stay with the Apple iOS Jailbreak version. If you upgrade to the new version, your iPhone will not be able to use the software downloaded after the initial jailbreak that you installed.
In the meantime, fans of the Apple iOS Jailbreak are going to be waiting a little longer as the Chinese hacking group works harder to get the latest jailbreak version out to consumers. Apple has been getting better at closing the holes that allow for the jailbreak and that was evident on iOS 9.
The company released a new version of the software just days after the jailbreak was announced and for those that upgraded, it closed the holes and they were not allowed to do any jailbreaking with their iPhone at that time.
