Apple iOS Jailbreak Could Get even More Complicated in the Future, How Far Will Apple Push? Let’s See

It’s worth pointing out that some minor rumors have surfaced in the last week indicating that there could actually be a jailbreak tool for 10.2 on the way. Details have been quite scarce though, and it doesn’t seem like anyone actually knows when the tool will be released, or which group is behind it.

Pangu are among the usual suspects, as can be expected, but their name is commonly thrown around anytime reports of a new jailbreak tool come up, so there’s probably not much credibility to those rumors right now.

This also leads us to an important point – part of the purpose of working in the jailbreak community at the moment is prestige, and there’s no doubt that if there was actually a jailbreak tool for 10.2 behind the scenes, we would have already heard about it from the “official” source.

Pangu have been quiet recently, but many people are hoping that this could change soon. Some have even jokingly pointed out that this could be the perfect holiday gift by the team to the community, so hopefully Pangu are reading. Of course, they probably can’t force their work to go faster, so if they don’t actually have a working solution behind the scenes, we don’t expect to hear any response anytime soon either. Still, many jailbreak users remain hopeful that they will get full access to 10.2 by the end of this year, or at least January.
