For now, we’re curious to see how Apple are going to continue their work on iOS and what the future holds for iOS 10 and its upcoming updates. The operating system seems to be moving at a rather slow pace right now, with no major features on the horizon other than some which have been described as gimmicks by users.
But this is not just an iOS problem, it’s all over the industry, and it looks like smartphones as a whole are suffering from a lack of creative thinking at the moment. Maybe Google are going to come up with something more interesting for Android, or perhaps even Microsoft may innovate yet again with Windows.
Some users claimed that iOS 10 was a bit of a rushed release, and that Apple should have waited a bit longer before bringing it out so that they could develop more advanced features for the new version of the operating system.
But one has to wonder what iOS really needs right now. Other than widgets, the system isn’t really missing that much, and it’s quite capable and expansive compared to other choices on the market. As we said above, its closeness can be seen as a benefit to some, and it’s certainly true that Apple have some fans who are thankful for the extra care the company provides for them. And when we see news reports about malware targeting jailbreak users, it’s not hard to see why.
