Apple iOS 9.3.4 Jailbreak Is the Last Option for Those Who Don’t Want to Upgrade to iOS 10 as Team Pangu Skips 9.3.5!

In the end, users who are currently stuck on 9.3.4 and don’t want to risk moving up to 9.3.5 should check their system settings and only download updates manually. We don’t know how the situation will develop in the future, and if Apple may decide to release a mandatory update that poses as a security fix.

The company does have a point with their actions against jailbreak developers to some extent, as we’ve seen various examples of malicious software specifically targeting jailbreak users. And when a jailbroken device is already more open to attackers, it’s obvious why this is an issue.

The company has also made some moves to alleviate the situation for their users, and give them a little more freedom in their daily operations with their devices. For example, sideloading apps is possible to some extent with the use of a special tool provided by Apple.

It’s still not an ideal situation by any means, but at least it shows that the company is interested in the comfort of their users and aren’t just acting out of a malicious intent to control the whole market. While it’s obvious that they also want to lock down their devices more than Google does for Android, at least they aren’t taking things to any extreme lengths in this regard.

Maybe iOS 10 will also eventually offer some additional customization features that may make jailbreaking obsolete, who knows. That would certainly benefit Apple in the long run. But then again, this has been discussed for so long now, there is practically no hope of ever seeing it become reality.
