Apple iOS 8.4.1 Jailbreak Remains the Only Option of People Displeased with iOS 9 Performance!

Some critics have been claiming that it may make more sense for Apple to take up a more open approach now, giving their users more freedom in iOS and allowing them to freely “unlock” their system without the use of specialized jailbreaking software.

That could actually make iOS more secure, according to some, as it would prevent situations like the recent incident where it turned out that one of the more popular jailbreak tools was infected with malware that compromised users’ devices.

Apple reminded their users not to use jailbreaking software because of incidents like this, but in the end, it’s also true that the situation would not have happened if they allowed their users to jailbreak the OS without any specialized tools in the first place.

It’s probably not very reasonable to expect Apple to change their approach now that they’ve been going this way for so long, but we don’t know what the future holds. It might turn out that iOS becomes a more open, flexible operating system later on, especially if Apple want to compete with Google and Android. This is one of their biggest issues right now, and it’s a problem with no clear solution in sight, according to some experts who have been following the situation.

  1. Another problem is that iOS 8.4.1 isn’t easy to jailbreak, as the security patch for that version prevents jailbreaking, so if one wants to jailbreak it has to be an earlier version from iOS 8.4.1, or else just run iOS 8.4.1 stock.

    1. Not true. iOS 8.4.1 was jailbreaked few weeks ago, but it was not available to public. It was only shown on some hack conferrence or something like that by TaiG I think.
