But on the other hand, once it’s been released, it should improve the situation for everyone, both regular users as well as those that jailbreak their devices. Everyone is going to get access to new features and bugfixes, while jailbreak users are also going to be able to get the freedom they normally like to enjoy with their devices.
All that’s left for users is to wait for 8.4 to come out, and for developers to release their jailbreak tools for it afterwards. Judging by current rumors circulating around the jailbreak scene, it shouldn’t take too long for those tools to come out once iOS itself has been updated.
And on the other hand, some developers seem to be thinking even further into the future, already waiting for iOS 9 to come out so they can target it with their jailbreak efforts directly. That’s probably not a bad option either, especially considering that the new version of the OS is going to enjoy a significant flow of new users.
I want to jail brake
I want an 8.4 jailbreak
I’ll hold on my 8.1.2 jb as much as i can possibly hold. Looks like Apple tree won against jailbreakers… Haha bye app freedom!!!
There’s a low chance of there being a iOS 9 jailbreak because of this new system called rootless. It prevents people from going through its files making jailbreaking impossible
Michael – you could be right in saying rootless will prevent future jailbreaks but one statement on the web from taig says they haven’t ever needed root access to run a jailbreak and they haven’t ever needed root access to even create one , every os is breakable some how , there will be someone out there who can get past which ever security it has to offer hence why there will be lots of updates , I’m sure at one point Apple said iOS 8 wouldn’t be jailbreakble or it wouldn’t be easy but almost straight away we got one, in my opinion every os will be jailbreakble, even if it takes months to find one, there will be one
