With the Apple iOS 10, the iMessage app gets new features including animations, invisible ink, personalized handwritten notes, and automatic emoji suggestion, which Apple guarantees to be more fun, and a Snapchat-style app now. Among the new animations include balloons, confetti, or fireworks.

In addition, users shall be able to send music links from Apple Music to their friends, who then can open the link in the app itself.

Another interesting improvement on the iMessage is that it shall be having its own App Store. Developers can also create apps for iMessage which will offer special functions like send payments or schedule dinner or a movie.

The role of the iMessage is also set to expand and get bigger with the iOS 10 and the American tech giant claims that it is going to be the most used apps on their devices.

Meanwhile, the Apple iOS 10 shall also bring redesigned maps which shall be simpler and more intuitive to use. The company is also opening the Maps app to developers to enable booking taxicabs via Uber and Lyft, without leaving the app.

The app shall also offer directions to users where they are most likely to go next based on their routine or appointments.

Quicker access to information

The Apple iOS 10 shall also make it easier and quicker for users to access information. There will be a ‘Raise to Wake’ feature that automatically wakes the screen as the iOS device is raised.

It would make it easier for the user to view notifications right from the Lock Screen. They can also access Notifications, Today, View, and the Control Center with just a swipe of the device or a press.

The iOS 10 also makes Notifications more interactive and can also be accessed even from the Lock Screen.
