Apple iOS 10 Looks Better and Better as Usability Improvements Keep Rolling in!

Another point that many users have been bringing up is the backwards compatibility of the operating system – or rather, the worrying trend of slowly letting go of it in recent months. Apple have been making iOS more and more reliant on the most recent additions to the hardware of the iPhone, leaving a lot of their users out.

There’s not much that the company can realistically do to prevent that if they want to significantly improve on the design of the OS though, and they are most certainly aware of that fact better than any of their users.

Plus, Apple have generally maintained a trend of improving their designs and releasing new devices, especially in the iPhone line, so it’s not that surprising that they would prefer to work like that.

This style has some issues in the eyes of users, but it also gives Apple a lot of freedom in how they can design the operating system, especially in keeping it competitive with other systems on the market. And considering the recent reports that Apple have been losing some market share, this could actually be quite important right now. Even if it means leaving some users behind, it’s critical to develop the iPhone and iPad as much as possible and ensure that they have something to attract users over the offerings of Google and other companies. Apple are in a cozy spot right now, but that could easily change in just a few months.
