Apple iOS 10 Full of New Productivity Features, What’s the Company’s General Direction Right Now? Let’s See

Right now, there is a pretty large portion of iOS users who prefer to jailbreak their devices and wouldn’t use them in another way. Removing this possibility would mean reduced sales and overall lower market popularity for Apple, even in the short term.

On the other hand, allowing the jailbreak scene to survive could be a nice middle ground for the company and its users, allowing both sides to get what they want without having to sacrifice too much.

Some are claiming that Apple are not actually doing enough to make iOS more accessible and open to its users, and that Apple should, for example, allow for even easier sideloading of apps.

The company is arguably doing plenty right now in this regard though, at least considering their typically strict stance on customization and users having access to the internals of the operating system. While iOS 10 could still open up some more doors to its users, it already offers a lot for those who like to customize their experience.

For true power users, there’s always Android and its full capability for customization. But with all the productivity features that have been making their way into iOS 10, we’re curious how the market shares of both operating systems are going to change over the next year. More and more people seem to be eyeing Apple’s products lately, and it’s becoming quite obvious even to those who don’t follow them.
