Apple Could Be Facing an Innovation Crisis, Will the Apple iPhone 8 Sport an OLED Curved Display? Let’s See

The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple has been planning major design changes for the new iPhone. Major changes could include the presence of an OLED display, removal of the home button by embedding the fingerprint sensor in the screen itself, as reported by people familiar with the issue.

During a meeting with an Apple executive, one of the China-based engineers in the company asked why the iPhone 7 lacked a serious design change while keeping up with the current two-year cycle. The answer was that the new technology which is currently in the pipeline will take some time to be implemented.

People who know about the matter talked about some possible features like curved displays and others, which weren’t ready yet for the iPhone 7. If Apple decides to follow the usual launch pattern, the iPhone 7 that was launched this year, will be followed by the iPhone 7S next year.

A new report suggested that since it’s the anniversary of iPhones, three new models could be launched. According to rumor, the screen would be bent on both sides, thereby competing with the latest Note 7 from Samsung. Regarding price, the current price tags will be retained.
