Ant-Man Movie Production Coming to a Halt Successfully, Fans Receive Teaser!

Fans who have been following “Ant-Man” and its production throughout the last year know that they’ve had more than one occasion to feel worried, as the movie wasn’t exactly going according to plan in some regards. Still, after the dust settled, it seems that the production is now wrapping up successfully, and the studio is starting to get things ready for the film’s release.

Peyton Reed, who’s currently directing the production, gave fans a small teaser on his Twitter account, telling them that they should stay tuned for more information as well. A trailer is apparently planned to be released sometime soon, although no exact date has been given for that. And, if everything goes according to plan, the actual film should hit the screen on July 17, 2015.

Those who haven’t been following “Ant-Man” that closely may be surprised to find out how far back its production actually dates – Edgar Wright, for example, has been involved with the film’s directing since 2006, although at some point he had to leave the crew since he saw things in a different way. He was subsequently replaced by Peyton Reed, who handled the directing of the film until the end of its production, but not before some drastic changes were made.

Among those, some parts of the script had to be significantly rewritten, a job which Adam McKay was specifically called in for. The film also saw some setbacks related to its actors, as at some point several members of the cast left the production due to conflicting schedules. In the end though, the producers managed to fill the missing roles and all scenes were successfully filmed until the beginning of this month.

Now, all that’s left to do is to go through the post-production stage, as well as prepare the market for the film’s release – it’s expected that the pre-release hype will start rolling out soon, and fans are already eager to see the first trailer for the upcoming film. It wouldn’t be surprising if a trailer is shown soon, considering all scenes have already been filmed, although the producers will likely want to time this according to their own plans, in order to draw as much attention as possible to their new film.

And for fans, all that’s left is to wait and see how well Peyton Reed has handled his job in the director’s seat, as well as how effectively the other parts of the film’s production have come together. Considering how many times something has had to be replaced on the set, this film might see some issues with its overall consistency – but a lot of people are certainly hopeful that it will turn out okay.
