Angelique Boyer Says She Does Acrobatic Scenes Herself in ‘Tres Veces Ana;’ Praises Boyfriend Sebastian Rulli as a Very Good Co-Star!

There’s a new Mexican telenovela that has been generating attention in the Latin community and it features France-born Angelique Boyer playing three different roles.

She plays triplet sisters Ana Lucia, Ana Leticia, and Ana Laura in the telenovela “Tres Veces Ana” which makes the telenovela really Angelique-centric.

“Tres Veces Ana” was previously titled as “Frente Al Mismo Rostro” and its production began in February this year.

Angelique says she finds Ana Lucia as the most challenging among the three sisters because the character is a passionate acrobatics dancer.

In a recent interview, Boyer said that in order to keep up with the role of Ana Lucia, she had to train with professionals two hours a day for seven weeks, details the Latin Times.

She admitted however that she has stunt doubles to handle the tougher scenes. But she takes care of some of the acrobatic scenes herself.

Boyer also disclosed that she has a team that helps out and supports her but when she can do things on her own, she always does it with a passion.

Could not have picked a better co-star

Angelique also shares her thoughts about working with her boyfriend Sebastian Rulli. While the power couple has previously worked together in telenovelas, “Tres Veces Ana” is the first time that they debut as an official romantic couple.

The actress says that she could not have asked for a better co-star in her 40-year-old Argentinian boyfriend Sebastian Rulli.

Rulli also has a twin role in the telenovela as Santiago and Marcelo, which hints that two of the Anas in the TV series shall be spoken for.

It is not clear if the third Ana shall have a different love interest in the end other than another Sebastian Rulli character or it is possible that one of the three characters will either die or have an unfortunate ending in the conclusion.

An adaptation of a classic

“Tres Veces Ana” is actually an adaptation of the classic telenovela “Lazos de Amor.” But Angelique Boyer clarifies that while the new telenovela was inspired by the classic telenovela, the two are different in a lot of ways.

It started airing on the Univision Network on May 23 and features other familiar telenovela stars including Susana Dosamantes, Otto Sirgo, Ana Bertha Espín, Olivia Bucio, Nuria Bages, Leticia Calderón, Laisha Wilkins, Carlos de la Mota, Mónika Sánchez, Ramiro Fumazoni and many more.

Pablo Alboran, a reputable Spanish singer and songwriter composed and produced the theme song of “Tres Veces Ana” entitled “Se Puede Amar,” notes the Business Wire.

“Tres Veces Ana” follows the lives of Ana Lucia, Ana Leticia, and Ana Laura, whose parents died in a car accident when the triplets were only five years old.

Their fate gets even more complicated when only two of the girls were found alive and Ana Lucia was presumed to have died in the car crash.

Ana Lucia is the sister that got lost because she had amnesia and did not reunite with her sisters Ana Laura and Ana Leticia until years later when they are already grown-ups.

While others believe and are saying that Ana Lucia is dead, Ernestina, the grandmother of the triplets, and her son Ramiro, still thinks otherwise and they continue their work to find Ana Lucia. Ana Laura also believes that her sister is still alive. She also grew to become a beautiful woman but remained in solitary because of her disability.

Ana Leticia, on the other hand, grew to become the black sheep among the triplets. She is an extortionist and an ambitious woman who no longer wants Ana Lucia to return because it would only split their inheritance three ways. She wants it just between her and Ana Laura or even all to herself.

Meanwhile, most celebrity couple often deal with long-distance relationship especially when each one starts working on different projects.
